Music Explosion Day!
Join Lady Bay Music on Saturday 19 September 2026 for a celebration of music making in our community. We will be playing live music, running workshops, offering the chance for you to browse our market place and much more. Hear our Soul Collective, Ensemble, and other local groups and find out how you can get involved.
If you have a dusty instrument in the attic, rusty music skills or want to start your musical journey, we are here to help.
This event is for all the family – come and make some noise!

- Find out about Lady Bay Music and the various ensembles and groups you could join, whatever age you may be!
- Share your ideas about music in Lady Bay
- Listen to taster performances and expert demos
- Bring your instrument for a check up – see if it needs some TLC
- Learn about affordable instrument hire and loan options from Inspire Notts Music Hub
- If you have an instrument to donate or offer for long-term loan, bring it along and we’ll find it a new home
- Find out about all our wonderful local music teachers
- Meet various local music groups including Lady Bay Community Choir, Poppy folk club and Heron Cafe
Refreshments will be available as well as a raffle, to raise funds for our children’s music group.
