Lady Bay Music celebrates the joy of making music together. We are helping to develop a community where music is composed, rehearsed, improvised and performed in all sorts of ways. Our activities include music groups, ensembles, workshops, talks and children’s activities that are designed to engage people of all ages in participatory music making.
We welcome people of all ages who are at different stages on their musical journey in Lady Bay area of Nottingham and beyond. If you are thinking of picking up your instrument for the first time in years, interested in learning a new skill or just want to play music in a friendly and welcoming group then join us!
We know that music making is good for well being. Our members talk about having a sense of belonging, enjoying meeting new people, learning new skills and being able to contribute positively to the area.
It’s lovely meeting new people, playing music together and being part of my local musical community.
